When considering murals, especially in a commercial environment it is imperative that your wrap can be cleaned and disinfected. Your wrap also needs to meet building codes and be fire resistance. Exterior Wall Murals
Exterior wall vinyl can be applied to concrete or stucco and is rated for 7 years. It takes on the texture of the wall beneath it and looks painted once applied.
3M DI-NOC Architectural Films
JAFA Signs has 3M Preferred and Certified installers trailed to install 3M DI-NOC Architectural Films. Specializing in wraps and murals our JAFA Crew will design and install a unique space for you. Choose from textures and film such as wood, metal, ceramic, concrete, leather, stone, textiles and more. DI-NOC
How Are They Made?
Step 1
ESTIMATES
JAFA will measure the space, and supply an estimate for your project. Once a 50% deposit is received we can commence with design.
Step 2
DESIGN CONCEPTS
JAFA Signs employs 4 full time graphic designers. A designer will be chosen for your project and you will be given a free consultation. Shortly after you will receive digital renderings and mural concepts for your space. You may request changes.
Step 3
MATERIALS
Final materials will be selected for your mural. Indoor versus outdoor, matte, gloss or satin laminates, textures, wall coverings, printed vinyls versus architectural films.
Step 4
PRINTING AND LAMINATING
Your mural goes into production. JAFA Signs has 3 large format printers, one is chosen for your project and within 3 to 5 working days your mural will be printed then laminated.
Step 5
INSTALLATION
Our 3M Preferred and Avery Certified installers will call to schedule your installation. Backed with a 1 Year Warranty our installers will use heat guns, squeegees and rollers to apply your mural.
Step 6
FINISHING TOUCHES
In some cases the edges are sealed and we do a final trim and inspection to confirm everything lines up and that there are no wrinkles or bubbles.
FAQ Murals
Can I clean the mural?
Yes the mural will have a laminate on the print that can we wiped done with most cleaners. Ask your sales rep which ones work best with the product that was chosen for your project.
Can you put a mural on fresh paint?
Most paints need to gas out for min 2 weeks before we can apply a mural. Vinyl does not adhere well to LOW VOC Paint. Check with us before you paint your walls to make sure you are using the correct paint and primer.
Is the wall mural permanent?
Most wall vinyl can be removed before 6 months without damaging the paint or wall. After that it can be removed anytime but it might damage the paint.
Where do you fnd your images?

How Much Do you charge for design?
We have 4 full time graphic designers at JAFA Signs. We charge $60 per half hour for our senior designers and offer junior rates as well.
